Where are you from?

I’m from Trinidad and Tobago!

What can you share about your city/country that you’re proud of or someone elsewhere may find interesting?

Trinidad and Tobago is known for its Carnival celebration, where it originated. It’s also the birth place of the steelpan and music such as Calypso, Soca and Parang. For Carnival, the entire country shuts down for a week as masqueraders parade the streets for two days and then recover for the rest of the week in the sun and sand! I would say Trinidad and Tobago has the most colourful culture I’ve come across since it is heavily influenced by other distinct cultures such as Indian, African, Portuguese, Spanish and Amerindian, just to name a few.

What inspires you to travel?

I think it’s so easy to be inspired to travel, there are so many beautiful places our earth has to offer! I’m not a fan of cold weather so I definitely try to chase summer throughout the year! I love experiencing other cultures, there’s something about it that makes you want to learn more and at the same time makes you appreciate where you’re from.

Where is your favourite destination you’ve visited so far? Any hotel/resorts you would recommend?

So there’s a place off the coast of Trinidad you can get to via boating, and this place is called ‘Down the Islands’. You can throw your anchor anywhere you please and soak up the sun off the coast! It’s so beautiful and relaxing. I grew up going down the islands and I just keep going back no matter where I visit in the world!

What is your favourite sunscreen/tanning product?

My favourite sunscreen is definitely by Coola! It’s mattifying so you don’t have to worry about looking gray or having that awful white greasy film on your skin!

Do you prefer lazing on the beach or a day of adventure?

It depends on my mood. I’m definitely an adventure seeker but sometimes you just have to relax on a beach for some vitamin sea!

If you could experience living anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be and why?

If I could experience living somewhere for a year, I would choose Australia. I’ve always wanted to visit but never got the chance to.

What are your travel essentials?

My travel essentials are swimsuits I feel cute and comfortable in, sunscreen, a blend of essential oils for my face and body and my camera!

Where’s your next destination?

My next destination is actually going to be Trinidad for Carnival 2019 in March! I’m so excited!

Any bedtime rituals no matter where you are in the world?

No matter where I am, I need a hot shower and a complete moisturizing session before bed.

Where is your favourite place/activity to be in a bikini?

My favourite place to be in a bikini is on a boat or on a beach!

Favourite bikini cut or trend?

My favourite bikini cut is a cheeky bottom and any bikini top! Currently I’m loving the 2 styles Kate and Cecylia from Luna Swim!

Is there an interesting fact about yourself that we would never have guessed?

An interesting fact about me that no one would guess would probably be that I’m pretty clumsy! I am not graceful whatsoever haha

What inspired you to start modelling and what do you love about it the most?

Growing up I was never very confident, I was made fun of for being naturally slim. I was introduced to modelling through a friend and ever since I found a new respect and love for my body because I soon realized that we are all different, and that’s beautiful. It’s really important to embrace what’s unique about you. I love what I do, I love creating art with my body and telling a story that doesn’t necessarily have to be told with words.
